Hello, and welcome to Trade Show Joe Video Series. I'm Dan Riley, and today we're going to discuss a literature rack - an all-steel, very modular literature rack, known as the Zed Up. So lets' have a look!

So, this guy is our literature rack known as the Zed Up 1. The Zed Up 1 is one of the pioneers of the zigzag style literature rack. It has been tested and proven, and has been a good seller for years. It is an all-steel construction, which has been perforated or punched out so that it reduces the weight of the unit, being that it is steel. It is 18 lbs. That includes the unit and the canvas carrying bag. This particular unit is available in a black or a silver finish and is designed to have six literature pockets in a zigzag formation. Three of the literature pockets would typically be in the front, and three of the literature pockets would be on the back, unless you turn it sideways. Then, you kind of have a literature rack on the left, right, left, as you go down the unit. The literature pocket is designed to hold up to a 9" x 12" piece of literature, which would hold most folders, brochures, and 8.5" x 11" sheets of paper. As far as the thickness or the depth of the pocket, you can hold a stack of literature that's going to be about an inch thick. Six pockets at an inch thick would hold a lot of literature for your trade show.

The way it works is very easy. No tools required and anyone can set this up in matter of minutes. You simply are going to raise the unit upright. It has a series of interconnecting scissors that hold the unit together. You're going to continue to raise it and rise it up vertically until it doesn't want to really raise or rise anymore. There's two little wheel mechanisms here at the base, and once you get it all the way extended, they simply drop into some pre-cut slots, and that's what holds the unit vertically upright. It makes it stable and easy to use. As an added safety feature, it has this turning latch mechanism and you simply turn it, and it locks the unit into place so you don't have any accidents, or have it come down and hit your fingers, or anything like that. So, it is a really slick, really well designed unit. I've seen these evolve, having been selling them for probably 10 or 12 years since the first generation of these came out, and they have improved with the overall functionality, with the overall finish of the metal components, and added some safety features built in. This is a winner. This is a great product, available again in black or silver. It really is attractive, easy to use, and completely collapsible. We've got it on a table here, but I will set it down for you, and the unit measures 60 inches high. So, it is 12 inches or so this way, and 60 inches vertical. It is a great size for most trade show booths, and we find that our customers tell us when literature is attractively presented, it is better received and is more likely to be disseminated or picked up if the presentation is enhanced by one of our literature racks.
