0:08 — A display project for SkuVault
Hello and welcome to the Trade Show Joe video series. I'm Dan Riley. Today we're discussing a style of trade show booth we introduced through a project for a software company called SkuVault.
The client wanted to stand out. After considering panels, light boxes and pop-up displays, we chose a system with aluminum tubes forming the perimeter and a dye-sublimation fabric graphic that wraps around and zips closed like a large pillowcase.
The client has used the booth at events in Las Vegas and Chicago, and I believe at international locations as well.
1:29 — Tubular frame and shape options
This is the Formulate framework. It assembles using durable, lightweight aluminum tubes, approximately two inches in diameter.
The configurations discussed include a flat version with straight tubes, a horizontal curve with a wave-like shape, and a vertical curve. The curved structures create a distinctive presentation.
In the demonstration, two people took approximately 15 minutes to assemble the basic frame.
3:02 — Fitting the fabric graphic
Once the frame is assembled, pull the fabric pillowcase over the framework. The full-color dye-sublimation graphic has a zipper on one side, normally at the bottom.
Pull the material taut and zip it closed to complete the portable display.
3:44 — Completed ten-foot display
Here is the completed ten-foot curved Formulate display. The graphic is printed on stretchy fabric.
The printed front and blank back are stitched together like a large pillowcase. The cover wraps over the structure and zips across the bottom.
4:15 — Shelving, monitor and lighting accessories
Accessories discussed in this review include product shelving and a mounting bracket for a flat-screen monitor. The monitor can show a corporate video, product specifications, images or your website.
Lighting options include LED and halogen fixtures to illuminate the display.
4:42 — Client experience and contact
This display worked well for our client SkuVault and attracted questions from other people who saw it.
We would be glad to help with a project like this. Visit TradeShowJoe.com, call our toll-free number, chat with us online or email us anytime. Thank you for watching.
