0:08 — ShowMax overview
Hello and welcome to another Trade Show Joe video. I'm Dan Riley, and today I'm talking about an industry-proven display called the ShowMax. It combines a carrying case and a simple, easy-to-use display. Let's have a look.
0:29 — Case construction and opening the unit
This is our ShowMax tabletop unit: a case and tabletop display in one. It's made of durable ABS plastic and weighs about 35 pounds.
It has a couple of latches, and you can begin opening it on the tabletop or on the floor before lifting it onto the table. Undo the latches to let the unit start folding forward. Other small latches control the wheel assembly, which folds up out of the way.
The back has storage compartments for extra pieces, parts or literature. From there, lift the unit upright onto the tabletop and open it.
1:42 — Fabric surface and custom header
The opened unit has a hook-and-loop receptive surface. Posters, prints or designs can attach with hook-and-loop fasteners to customize the display.
We offer the display in a couple of colors. The unit described here also includes an arched header that attaches at the top. We can customize it with company names and logos. It adds roughly 10 to 12 inches of height and gives the display a finished appearance.
2:33 — Display area and panel dimensions
The unit offers a generous display area when fully opened: about 73 inches wide. Each panel is approximately 18 inches wide by 36 inches high.
The combined display area is approximately 73 inches wide by 36 inches high, with the option of adding the customized header.
3:05 — Schools, recruiting and event uses
These displays have been around for a while, and we've supplied them for many applications. Schools, colleges, job recruiters and military recruiters use them.
They're suited to someone who wants a quick, professional, cost-effective tabletop presentation: set it up, attach the graphics and header, and you're ready to go.
3:35 — Installing and storing the lights
The unit demonstrated also includes MR16 halogen light fixtures. They slide into small openings at the top on the right and left sides. Connect the power supply, and they're ready to use.
The lights are directional, so you can turn and aim them to illuminate the display. They store in the back of the unit, keeping the kit compact.
