T-135 LED Trade Show Display Light – Demonstration Video

Introduction

Hello, and welcome to the Trade Show Joe Video Series. I’m Dan Riley, and today we’re going to be talking about a new product to the market called the T135. It is a wide LED light fixture that is ideal for a variety of different trade show display applications, so let’s have a look!

LED lights and construction

This is our T135 light. It is LED, and by nature it has a series of individual LED bulbs. There are approximately three rows of 50 lights, giving you 150 individual LED lights to illuminate your intended product or graphic.

It’s durable, it’s a nice product, and it’s all aluminum. This part is aluminum, and the pole that connects to the base is aluminum. The only part that is not aluminum is the actual bottom, which is durable ABS molded plastic.

Adjustable light head

The head on the light pivots. You can move it back and forth and up and down 270 degrees. You can almost spin it in a full circle to direct light a little left, right, up or down. It gives you a lot of versatility through a little ball joint built between the arm and head of the light.

Mounting brackets and display applications

The light includes a bracket. It’s a universal type like we’ve shown in the past. It simply slides into the base of the light. You can connect the bracket to your intended surface by loosening and tightening this vise-like bracket.

This is the standard bracket. As many of you may have seen in other videos, we have a variety of other brackets. If you say, “Hey Trade Show Joe, I’m trying to mount this on something bigger or smaller, or I’ve got a certain brand of display,” we have different types of brackets that slide in and out of the base of this style of light.

They allow you to mount it on a pop-up structure like the one behind me, a fabric structure like our Formulate, a custom display made of plywood or 2-by-4s, a banner stand, and other applications to fit your needs.

Power cord and on/off switch

The T135 comes with a power cord with a built-in transformer. It is 110 volts and runs on AC power. It works with a standard wall outlet or surge protector. It simply plugs in like so. You’ve got 11 feet 4 inches of cord, and the plug connects to the outlet to provide power.

The unit includes an on/off switch, which is nice if you wish to turn the light off at the end of your trade show day. With some other lights on the market, you have to unplug them, so this has a built-in on/off switch.

Light coverage and portability

The unit is lightweight. It puts out a lot of power in a compact, lightweight size and weighs a little under 2 pounds. Its head is different from most trade show lights, which are more square or slightly rectangular and don’t cast as much light or as wide a spread of light.

This design projects light in a wider, broader format. We’ll demonstrate it on the display to show how well it illuminates graphics; it would do a great job with products as well.

The unit folds sideways so the top portion with the lights runs parallel with the arm. That makes it easier and more portable to package. You don’t want something shaped like a large T when trying to find a box for it. It folds into a smaller size.

Finish availability at the time of recording

This is our T135—a new product. It currently comes only in a white finish. We anticipate a black finish coming for this model. We don’t know when, but we have it in a white finish immediately available.
